The HPSC HCS 2023 selection process consists of three stages:

HPSC HCS Interview:
The HPSC will contact the applicants who receive scores that are equal to or higher than the HCS cut-off scores for the personality test/interview. No applicant will be contacted for the HCS interview unless they receive a combined total of 45% on all of the major written examinations and 33% on the Hindi and English examinations.
