SSC CGL Exam 2023 – Tiers of Exam

There are two phases to the SSC CGL exam syllabus, which are referred to as Tier I and Tier II. Online testing is used for SSC CGL Tiers 1 and 2. The SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam serves as the basis for final selection, whereas the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam is only for qualifying purposes. SSC CGL Syllabus 2022 for Tier 2

After the preliminary exam has been conducted, it will be necessary to gear up for the Tier-2 SSC CGL 2022 Exam. The Mains Exam will be conducted online and is an objective multiple-choice exam, except for Module II (Data Entry Speed Test) of Section III of Paper-I.

SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Pattern

Paper-I will be administered in two sessions on the same day—Session I and Session II—and is required of all candidates who pass Paper 1. Conducting Sections I, II, and Module I of Section I will be part of Session I. Conducting Module II of Section III will take place in Session II. The candidates must meet the requirements for each section of Paper-I.

This component of the SSC CGL Tier-2 Syllabus will serve as the basis for the test of English language proficiency. For this section of the Tier-2 Exam, it is required to have a basic understanding of the English language in terms of the following topics in order to score well. The reading comprehension curriculum is not specific and is included in the syllabus to evaluate candidates’ ability to respond quickly to situations.

The purpose of the questions is to evaluate the candidates’ general knowledge of their environment and how it relates to society. SSC CGL Syllabus 2022: Important Points

For all positions listed in the SSC CGL 2022 Notification, the Tier-I test is required. Candidates will need to study for the Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams simultaneously.

In the Tier I exam, providing an incorrect response will result in a deduction of 0.5 marks.

Each incorrect response in Papers I, II, and III will result in a negative marking of 1 in Tier II.
